VMware Ups Offering Range
Palo Alto-based VMware has upped the offering range on its IPO, saying Thursday afternoon in a filing with the SEC that it is now looking to offer up to 33,000 shares of its common stock at between $27.00 and $29.00 per share. The company, which will list on the New York Stock Exchange as "VMW," had previously set its pricing range between $23.00 and $25.00 per share. VMware's IPO is being underwritten by Citi, JPMorgan, Lehman Brothers, Credit Suisse, Merrill Lynch & Co., and Deutsche Bank Securities. VMware is current a unit of EMC Corporation.
