Norwest Venture Partners Hires Venture Partner

Palo Alto-based Norwest Venture Partners said this morning that it has added Joshua Goldman as a Venture Partner at the venture capital firm. Goldman was most recently CEO of Akimbo Systems, and was also Enterpreneur-in-Residence at Sprout Group. Goldman also headed mySimon, which was acquired in 2000 by CNET Networks for $730M. Norwest Venture Partners makes investments in information consumer Internet and media, software, services, enterprise and communications systems, and semiconductor/components, and has $2.5B under management.
