Podbrige Names CEO, VP

Mountain View-based Podbridge said earlier this week that it has named Brian Steel as CEO of the firm, and appointed Jeff Karnes as VP of Marketing and Products. The venture-backed provider of advertising and measurement for the podcast industry said that Steel joins the firm from Yahoo, and has also previously served at OVerture, Idealab, and On Command. Steel also is currently on the board of Pandora Media, Krugle, and MeeVee. Podbridge said that Karnes also joins from Yahoo, and has worked at Virage and Cinebase Software. Podbridge is venture backed by Mayfield Fund, Sutter Hill Ventures and Worldview Technology Partners. More information »
