Symyx Technologies Completes MDL Information Systems Acquisition

Santa Clara-based Symyx Technologies said earlier this week that it has closed its $123M acquisition of MDL Information Systems. Symyx had announced the acquisition in early August. Symyx acquired MDL information Systems from Elsevier Inc. Symyx is a provider of electronic lab notebook and other software to the R&D industry.
