WeatherBill Raises $12.5M

San Francisco-based WeatherBill said today that it has closed on a Series A round worth $12.5M. The firm, which allows companies to manage weather risk, said that the funding was led by New Enterprise Associates and Index Ventures, and also included Allen & Company, Atomico Investments, and Sean Park, along with prior investors First Round Capital and angel investors. Kittu Kolluri of NEA, Neil Rimer of Index, and Barney Schauble at Nephila Capital will join its board as part of the funding. The round brings the company's total raised to $16.8M. More information »
