Bessemer Expands India Team

Venture capital firm Bessemer Venture Partners said earlier this week that it has added Devesh Garg as Managing Director at the firm's Indian operations. Garg joins the firm in Mumbai, where it previously had a team of nine. Bessemer currently has $350M allocated for investments in India. Garg has been at Bessemer since 2003 as an Operating Partner; he was most recently CEO at Tilera, a portfolio firm. Garg has also served at Broadcom, where he was General Manager of the firm's Security Business Unit.
