Better Place Raises $200M For Electric Cars

An unnamed, Palo Alto-based startup operating under the working name "Better Place" has raised $200M in funding for developing an electric car technology, according to a report in the Wall Street Journal. The firm, which is headed by former SAP AG executive Shai Agassi, is reportedly backed by Israel Corp. Details on the funding have not been released by the company.
