MerchantCircle Raises $10M

Los Altos-based MerchantCircle, a provider of web sites for local business owners, said today that it has raised $10M in a Series B funding. The round came from Rustic Canyon Partners, Scale Venture Partners, Steamboat Ventures, and new investors IAC and Square 1 Bank. According to MerchantCircle, the funding will allow it to pursue new acquisition opportunities. MerchantCircle had previously raised a $4.3M Series A in June of 2006. More information »
