Glu Mobile Acquires China's MIG Games

San Mateo-based Glu Mobile said this morning that it has agreed to acquire mobile games publisher Beijing Zhangzhong MIG Information Technology Co. Ltd. (MIG). The deal is worth $14.7M in cash plus up to $25M in earn out. MIG is a developer of mobile games for the Chinese market. Glu said the acquisition would strengthen its presence in China. Glu is adding MIG's approximately 80 employees to its team, and the operations will be headed by Wang Bin, CEO of MIG.
