Mobius Microsystems Snags $10.22M For Timing Chips
Sunnyvale-based Mobius Microsystems said late Monday morning that it has closed a Series B round of funding, worth $10.22M. The round came from Foundation Capital, Menlo Ventures, and RPM Ventures, all of them current investors in the firm. Mobius Microsystems is developing CMOS-based, oscillators used for electronic timing circuits; the firm expects its products to replace quartz-based crystal oscillators. Other firms also developing silicon timing chips include SiTime, Silicon Clocks, Discera along with Maxim and Linear Technologies. More information »
