Engine Yard Steams In With $3.5M

San Francisco-based Engine Yard said today that it has closed on $3.5M of funding in a Series A investment for its Ruby on Rails application deployment and support tools. The funding came from Benchmark Capital. According to Engine Yard, the funding will go towards expanding its operations, to strengthen its customer service organization, and to enhance Ruby on Rails technologies. Mitch Lasky and Peter Fenton of Benchmark both join the company's board along with the funding. More information »
