Desi Hits Scores $5M

San Francisco-based Desi Hits, an online entertainment site focused on India's youth culture, said Tuesday that it has raised $5M in a second round of funding. The funding came from Draper Fisher Jurvetson, Trident Capital, and the D.E. Shaw Group. Desi Hits operates an online site focused on South Asian culture, music, and other youth lifestyle features. Both DFJ and Trident were prior investors in the firm through a Series A funding last February. More information »
