NetApp Completes Onaro Buy

Sunnyvale-based NetApp said this morning that it has completed its acquisition of Boston, Mass.-based Onaro. The deal was originally announced January 3rd, although no financial details of the acquisition have been announced. NetApp said it plans to further develop and extend Onaro's storage service management software, which is called SANscreen. The software is used for provisioning, management, and auditing of enterprise data storage. Onaro is backed by Cedar Fund and Newbury Ventures.
