Glam Media Pulls In $85M

Brisbane, California- and New York-based online women's publisher Glam Media said today that it has raised $84.6M in a combination of debt and equity. Glam, which publishes a network of websites focused on women, said the funding was led by magagine publisher Hubert Burda Media, GLG Partners, Duff Ackerman & Goodrich Ventures, and Accel Partners, Draper Fisher Jurvetson, Walden Ventures and Information Capital. The firm also raised $20M in debt financing from Hercules Technology Growth Capital. The firm said the funding will be used to accelerate growth of its network. More information »
