Climos Scoops Up $3.5M For Climate Change Mitigation
San Francisco-based Climos, a new startup focused on mitigating climate change, said Wednesday that it has raised $3.5M in a venture found led by Braemer Energy Ventures. Elon Musk also participated in the round. According to Climos, it will use the funding to develop the firm's Ocean Iron Fertilization (OIF) technology, which is expected to help sequester atmospheric carbon dioxide through phytoplankton growth.
