Zend Adds To Board

Cupertino-based Zend, which develops the popular PHP open source application development language, said today that it has added Steven Springsteel to the firm's board of directors. Springsteel is Chairman, President, and CEO of Chordiant Software, and has also served at Verity. According to Zend, Springsteel will add two decades of experience leading publicly traded technology companies. Zend is venture backed by Index Ventures, Greylock, Azure Capital Partners, Walden Israel, and others.
