Gear6 Raises $10M
Mountain View-based Gear6, a developer of products for accelerating data storage, said Wednesday that it has raised $10M in a funding round. The round came from Horizon Ventures, and also included prior investors U.S. Venture Partners and InterWest Partners. According to Gear6, the funding will go to bolster the firm's market expansion. Gear6 develops caching appliances used for speeding up data storage access. The total raised by the firm now totals $24.5M. More information »
