imeem Buys SNOCAP

San Francisco-based imeem said Monday that it has acquired SNOCAP, a provider of digital rights and content management software. Financial terms of the deal were not disclosed. imeem said the move will expand the mix of products and serviecs that imeem offers to artists and music labels. SNOCAP was a provider of content identification and digital music services, and was founded by former Napster founder Shawn Fanning. imeem operates an online social networking web site.
