SpikeSource Raises $10M More

Redwood City-based SpikeSource, a provider of software for managing open source projects, said late last week that it has raised $10M in an additional round of funding. The funding came from Intel Capital, along with Perkins Caufield & Byers (KPCB), Fidelity Ventures, CMEA Ventures, and DAG Ventures. All of the firms were prior investors in the company. SpikeSource said the funding will go towards delivering and extending its SpikeSource Solutions Factory platform, which is used for creating, packaging, certifying, and updating open source and other software.
