Kleiner Adds EA Exec As Partner

Menlo Park-based venture capital firm Kleiner Perkins Caufield & Byers said Monday that it has added William "Bing" Gordon as a Partner at the firm. Gordon served as Chief Creative Officer at Electronic Arts, and currently is Chief Creative Officer Emeritus at the video game giant. According to Kleiner, Gordon will provide his insight and expertise to entrepreneurs in the consumer technology area. Gordon serves on the board of Amazon.com, and is on the faculty of the University of Southern California's interactive Media Division, Yale's "Digital Yale" presidential advisory council, and a trustee at the Urban School of San Francisco.
