Synopsys Invests In Software Firm

Mountain View-based Synopsys said this morning that it has made an investment in Prover Technology AB, a supplier of software used for signaling design automation. Financial terms of the investment were not disclosed. Prover's software is used for engineering safety critical systems for controlling trains, switches, and signals. Synopsys said the funding will enable Prover to expand research and development, and also expand operations in Europe, North America, and Asia. Synopsys is a developer of EDA software for semiconductor design. More information »
