Unidym Gets $4M In Funding
Menlo Park-based Unidym, a manufacturer of carbon nanotubes, has received a $4M investment in a Series C investment from two firms, according to parent Arrowhead Research Corporation. According to Arrowhead, Unidym has received $2.0M in a strategic investment from Entegris, Inc., which was matched by $2.0M in investments from Arrowhead. Entegris is a supplier of products for purifying and transporting materials used in processing and manufacturing semiconductors. Arrowhead Research said that Unidym has previously raised capital in its Series C round from Batelle, Tokyo Electron Ventures, and other undisclosed financial institutions. The firm's original Series C close came in December of last year, and was worth $10.4M. More information »
