RingCube Teams On Virtual Desktop Device
Mountain View-based RingCube said today that it has partnered with a maker of biometric USB drives, to roll out a virtual desktop environment. The firm said that its new product allows users to carry around a complete desktop environment on a portable USB drive, which requires biometric access to access. RingCube said it is working with MXI Security for the new product, which it is targeting at workers who want to carry their desktop around without a notebook. The product runs off a USB flash drive and works on any Windows PC. RingCube is backed by New Enterprise Associates and Mohr Davidow Ventures.
