TRUSTe Scores Funding Round

San Francisco-based TRUSTe, a firm focused on online privacy, said earlier this week that it has raised a first round of funding from Accel Partners. Financial terms of the funding were not disclosed. TRUSTe said the funding will enable it to create state-of-the-art monitoring systems to stay ahead of technology advances. TRUSTe provides a service that monitors and validates privacy practices for major consumer web sites. More information »
