Vertos Medical Raises $12M

San Jose-based Vertos Medical said Thursday that it has raised $12M in a Series C financing. CHL Medical Partners and Foundation Medical Partners led the funding round, with participation by Aweida Venture Partners and DFJ Mercury. Vertos Medical is a medical device manufacturer focused on treatment of Lumbar Spinal Stenosis (LSS). Vertos said that Myles Greenberg, M.D. of CHL and Andrew Firlik, M.D. of Foundation have both joined the firm's board along with the funding. More information »
