Qumu Raises $10.7M
Emeryville-based Qumu said today that it has raised $10.7M in a Series C funding round. The round was led by Advanced Technology Ventures, and also included SAP Ventures, Storm Ventures, Garage Technology Ventures, Halo Opportunity Fund, and the Angels Forum. Qumu develops video publishing software used by companies to broadcast their multimedia publications. According to the company, the funding will go toward product development and expanded sales and marketing. The firm said the funding comes on the heels of a deal with At&T, to deliver and manage multimedia content for businesses worldwide. Financial terms of that deal were not disclosed. More information »
