Google Adds Maori Support
Mountain View-based Google announced today that the search engine has added support for the Maori language. The company said that the new localization of its search interface was the result of a volunteer translation, part of its "Google in YOur Language" program. The firm said the added support now means that the Google homepage is available in more than 100 languages. Google in Your Language program launched in 2001, and the Maori translation has been in progress since around that time.
