YuMe Names CEO

Redwood City-based YuMe, which operates a video advertising network, said today that it has hired Michael Mathieu as the firm's CEO. Former CEO and co-founder Jayant Kadambi becomes President, and remains on the firm's board of directors. Mathieu joins YuMe from Freedom Communications, where he was President of the firm's Internet Division. He has also served at United Online, At&T, Compuserve, and Wang Laboratories. YuMe is venture backed by Khosla Ventures, Accel Partners, BV Capital and DAG Ventures.
