LiveRail Takes $500K
San Francisco-based LiveRail, a provider of technology for Internet video advertising, said Tuesday that the firm has raised $500,000 in a venture round from Pond Ventures. The firm said the funding comes in conjunction with the release of a service, Junction, for video publishers to select, optimize, display and track video advertising. LiveRail's software integrates with media players and handles placing advertising into online video streams. The firm said the funding will go to scale the firm, including investing in research and development, building up its business development team, and for its network infrastructure. More information »
