Enphase Energy Finds $15M

Petaluma-based Enphase Energy, a manufacturer and developer of solar micro-inverters, announced Tuesday that it has raised $15M in a new funding round. The new funding was led by Rockport Capital Partners, and included Third Point Ventures and Applied Ventures. The firm said the new funding will go towards manufacturing of its product. Enphase Energy's products are used for converting DC power from solar panels into AC power usable in households. Enphase claims that its inventors are compatible with most major brands of solar modules. More information »
