GigaOm Buys TheAppleBlog

San Francisco-based Giga Omni Media, the online blog site behind GigaOm.com, said this morning that it has acquired TheAppleBlog, and online site focused on Apple news. Financial terms of the deal were not disclosed. According to GigaOm founder Om Malik, TheAppleBlog will be run by its founder, Josh Pigford. GigaOm recently purchased jkOnTheRun, a consumer-focused mobile gadget site. TheAppleBlog and Pigford are based in Denver.
