Fluidigm Withdraws IPO
South San Francisco-based Fluidigm officially withdrew the firm's IPO Friday, telling the SEC that the firm would withdraw its S-1 registration statement, which it had originally filed in April of 2008. According to the company, the withdrawal was the result of current public market conditions. Fluidigm has been seeking to raise up to $97.25M in an IPO on the NASDAQ Global Market. The firm's IPO had been underwritten by Morgan Stanley, UBS Investment Bank, and Leerink Swann.
