Solar Power Partners Gets $160M

Mill Valley-based Solar Power Partners said Monday that it has raised $100M in equity and debt financing, and expects to close an additional $60M in funding in 2008 for the firm's solar energy facilities. According to the firm, the new funding comes from United Commercial Bank, Globespan Capital Partners, The Enlightened World Foundation, Carrelton Asset Management, Dry Creek Ventures, Silicon Valley Technology Group, and Energy Investors Funds.
