GigaOm Raises $4.5M

San Francisco-based technology blog site GigaOm has raised $4.5M in an additional round of funding, the site said Monday morning. According to GigaOm, the investment came from Alloy Ventures, and also included prio investor True Ventures. GigaOm said that Alloy Ventures' Ammar Hanafi will join the firm's board as part of the funding. The firm said it will use the funds to enhance its technology platform and content offerings, and add to its current portfolio of publications. More information »
