Proteus Biomedical Raises $32M
Redwood City-based Proteus Biomedical announced Wednesday that the company has raised $32M in a Series D funding round. The funding came from Medtronic and Itochu, along with existing investors St. Jude Medical, Adams Street Partners, The Carlyle Group, Essex Woodlands, Kaiser Permanente Ventures, Spring Ridge Ventures and others. Proteus Biomedical is developing a cardiovascular implantable device for Cardiac Resynchronization Therapy. The firm said the round remains open for additional investors. More information »
