SiliconBlue Gets $24M For FPGAs

Sunnyvale-based SiliconBlue said today that it has raised $24M in a Series B funding round. The firm, which is developing ultra-low powered FPGAs specifically for use in mobile phones and other mobile products, said the round was led by New Enterprise Associates. BlueRun Ventures and Crosslink Capital also participated. The firm said it will use the funding to accelerate its growth, specifically by expanding sales operations globally. The round brings the company's total raised to $40M, including a August 2006 $16M round. More information »
