Agito Names New CEO

Santa Clara-based Agito Network said today that it has named Amit Chawla as the firm's President and CEO. Agito Network is a provider of technology to allow for roaming between Wi-Fi and cell phone networks. According to Agito, Chawla joins from Veraz Networks, where he was EVP of Global Business Units. Chawla also has served at Nortel Networks. Agito Networks is venture backed by Battery Ventures, Castile Ventures and ITX International.
