Trapeze Buys Newbury Networks

Pleasanton-based Trapeze Networks said Monday that it has acquired Newbury Networks, a developer of WLAN location systems. Financial terms of the buy were not disclosed. Trapeze said that newbury Networks will become and independent business unit within Trapeze Networks, and it will take on all sixteen of Newbury networks' team, which is based in Boston. Newbury networks was venture backed by Idealab.
