Picasa Expands Languages Support
Google's photo management tool, Picasa, has gained new support for additional languages, Google announced earlier this week. Google said that the tool's "name tags"--an online feature which allows people to tag and organize their photos based on people's names--now supports all of the 38 languages supported by Google. The "name tags" feature, which is available as part of Picasa Web Albums, allows users to automatically tag people in their photos, using facial recognition software. The new language support also includes automatic comment translation on comments on the web albums site.
