Scribd Raises $9M

San Francisco-based Scribd, which operates an online document sharing web site, has raised $9M in a Series B funding round. The round was led by Charles River Ventures, and also included prior investors Redpoint Ventures and Kinsey Hills Group. Bill Tai of Charles River joins the firm's board along with the new funding; the company has also hired George Consagra, former COO of Bebo, as President. More information »
