Logitech Cuts 15 Percent of Staff

Fremont-based computer accessories maker Logitech said Monday that the firm will cut fifteen percent of its staff, as the firm has been hit be a deteriorating retail market. According to the firm, it will be cut its workforce globally by approximately 15 percent, as it expects the economic environment to worsen in coming months. The firm also said it is withdrawing its Fiscal Year 2009 growth targets for sales and operating income due to the recession.
