Goodmail Systems Bolsters Funding Round By $4M
Mountain View-based Goodmail Systems said today that the firm has added $4M in funding from Omidyar Network, in a second close to the firm's recent funding round. The firm said the funding brings the company's total raised in its funding to $25M. The prior close of $20M occurred in November, and was led by Bessemer Venture Partners. According to Goodmail, the new funding will go to enhance its core product. Goodmail develops an email service aimed at helping commercial senders ensure that their email is delivered. Omidyar Network is the investment firm of eBay founder Pierre Omidyar and his wife. Goodmail's other investors include DCM-Doll, Emergence Capital Partners, and SoftBank Capital. More information »
