InsideView Raises $6.5M
San Francisco-based InsideView said Thursday that the firm has raised $6.5M in a Series B funding round, for the firm's sales intelligence tools. The firm said the funding was led by its current investors, Emergence Capital partners and Rembrandt Venture Partners. InsideView said the new round brings the company's total funding to $14M. The company will use the new funding to expand its sales and marketing operations, and for further development. InsideView's software integrates with CRM applications to help sales people find new sales opportunities; the software taps information in social networks, subscription web sites, and other data sources for possible sales leads.
