Kyte Links With Sony

San Franciso-based Kyte, a provider of software for production and distribution of digital content, said Monday that the firm is in an agreement with Sony Music Entertainment (SME). According to Kyte, it wil provide Sonywith its video platform in the United States and Germany. Financial impact of the deal was not disclosed. Sony Music Entertainment's artists and labels will be able to use Kyte's products to produce, distribute, and analyze their video content. Kyte is backed by Draper Fisher Jurvetson, Telefónica, Nokia Growth Partners, Steamboat Ventures, TeliaSonera, DoCoMo Capital, Holtzbrinck Ventures, Swisscom and others.
