VirtuOz Adds Board Members

Redwood City-based hosted sales support software maker VirtuOz reported today that it has appointed Eric Hahn and Karen Richardson to its board of directors. Hahn, VirtuOz said, is founding partner of the Inventures Group, a Palo Alto-based investment firm that participated in VirtuOz's $11.4 million Series B effort announced late last month. Richardson is an advisor to Silver Lake Partners and chairs Hi5's board of directors. The firm added that Hahn and Richardson join MDV partner David Feinleib and Galileo Partners' Francois Duliege on its board. Both MDV and Galileo Partners have invested in the company. VirtuOz develops "virtual agents" that respond to customer support and sales via chat and instant messaging.
