DEMO Taps VentureBeat's Marshall For Producer

The long running DEMO technology conference said last night that it has selected Matt Marshall, former reporter for the San Jose Mercury News, and the founder of online news site VentureBeat, as its Executive Producer. Marshall replaces current executive producer Chris Shipley. DEMO runs a series of conferences which select startups to present and launch their ideas to investors, the press, and others. Shipley has headed the conference for the last 13 years.
