Google Extends Chat To iGoogle

Mountain View-based Google said Monday afternoon that it has extended its chat feature on Gmail to its iGoogle home pages. According to the firm, the new feature allows people to send instant messages straight from its iGoogle page, the customized page that users who are registered with Google get on their home page when visiting the search engine. The firm said the new chat feature is available in English for U.S. users.
