Coral8 Merges With Aleri

Mountain View-based Coral8, a developer of business analytics software, has merged with Chicago-based competitor Aleri. According to Aleri and Coral8, the firms will combine to offer a software suite for delivering real-time analytics and intelligence for business decisions. Financial terms of the merger were not disclosed. The firms said they will operate under the Aleri name, with Coral8 CEO Terry Cunningham becoming Chairman of the combined firm. Aleri's CEO Don DeLoach will remain head of the new company.
