Yahoo, Getty Images Launch Photo Effort

San Francisco-based Yahoo and image licensing firm Getty Images said this morning that the two have launched a new collection of photos derived from the Flickr web site. According to Getty Images and Flickr, the new Flickr Collection is made up of images found on the Flickr user-generated photography site. The firms said that the images will be available exclusively on the Getty Images web site for commercial licensing, and will include new photos from Flickr every month.
