Codexis Gets Boost From Shell

Redwood City-based Codexis, a developer of biofuels technology, has scored additional equity investment from partner Royal Dutch Shell plc, the firms said Tuesday. Amount of the equity stake was not disclosed. The firm s said that the investment was part of an expanded agreement to develop biocatalysts, being targeted at commercializing next generation biofuels.
